North Rim/Grand Canyon June 1995 - Nikon F2 w/35mmPC My trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is representative of my impressions of the Southwest: wild and unpredictable! We left Page AZ in 90 degree heat and a dust storm, and two hours later, just after taking this image, we were in the middle of a 30 degree snowstorm. The canyon itself eluded my best efforts, but this tree, with its patches of sun and shade, brought back memories from summers past. |
