New Mexico, March 1995 - Nikon F2 w/Nikkor 55mm There's no place like Shiprock. First, it is visually fascinating, constantly changing as light and shadow weave their tapestries. Any time it is in view, I find myself checking it out. Second, it has spiritual aspects. This is one of the Navajo sacred mountains, and after an hour or so in the area, a great inner peace settles over me. My picture is meant to reflect these impressions. |
