Waiting on Ida - March 2001 Nikon F2 w/180mm Nikkor lens This shot took several trips. I was so tuned in to taking the shot from below, a la Suspension Bridge, that I never considered other options. From below, even with a figure, it is just a bridge. But, taken from the hill below the monastery, the natural curve of the bridge is pleasing to the eye. The figure, Katie Stern, gives the shot a focal point. If you are curious,...yes, I did take shots with Katie at various logical points on the bridge. This one gives the best balance. |
